Verena Michelitsch / Gossamer Magazine

Verena Michelitsch is a Freelance Designer and art director based in New York, she works on a collection of personal projects to editorial editions for Gossamer magazine. Verena began her career in Austria before taking an internship in New York, this followed with jobs in Pentagram, Ro and Co and Apple. Verena creates impactful designs which are current and experimentative, yet she doesn't allow her experience and knowledge to fog her future works. Michelitsch still speaks of the vulnerability she faces when showing her work for the first time, I think this shows that she is still a conscientious designer who is constantly evolving.

Gossamer Magazine is a creative endorsed publication which Verena creates art direction for. The magazine is expressive, futuristic and textured, all these elements created a magazine which was unique and interesting to look at. I hope to take inspiration from Verena's career and work to embody in my own practice.
